About City University

City University Malaysia, formerly the Petaling Jaya Community College, was established in April 1984. It was founded by a group of scholars with extensive experience in local and international universities.

City University offers more than 60+ programmes at the pre-university, diploma, degree and postgraduate levels. The programmes range across various disciplines including accounting, business, allied health sciences, architecture as well as engineering. Many of its programmes are accredited and recognised by various bodies including the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM), Department of Occupational Safety and Health (JKKP), ACCA and Nursing Board Malaysia.

As one of the earliest private higher education institutions in Malaysia, City University has produced more than 35,000 graduates to date. Over 75% of its graduates are hired by local and international companies, transitioning seamlessly into working life.

City UC is a private university college in Malaysia that offers various undergraduate and postgraduate academic courses as well as Human Resource Training and Development. There are seven faculties available for students in City UC:

City University is rated 4-Stars in the latest SETARA rating.

It is also only one of the few institutions in Malaysia that is recognised by the Department of Occupational Safety and Health (JKKP) and the Board of Architects Malaysia (LAM). City University has also received professional recognition from ACCA for its accounting and finance programmes.
